This rail is to mount a PU 3.5x22 Military Rifle Scope German Post Reticle with 26.5mm Tube on a Mosin-Nagant rifle.
Mounting holes are spaced 53.5mm on center.

Heavy but solid mount. Only works for pu-type mounts.
almost perfect fit
perfect mount for a PU build. These holes with the PU mount line up perfectly with with another mount I used for a project I didn't finish. But overall this is perfect for my purchase build. minor fitting will be required but nothing that can't be done over a weekend. side note: the universal mosin mount and this one are practically identical as far as spacing of the holes which are both 53.5mm appart. and the rail backing is identical as well. should you choose to change out mounts the holes will be in the same spot. however the screw holes themselves will not be the same size.
