The Magpul MOE AKM Hand Guard is a replacement for original stamped receiver AK-47/AKM/AK-74 pattern rifles with a front sling loop on the hand guard retainer.
Featuring an extended gripping portion, integrated heat shield, M-LOK mounting capability, and replacement gas tube cover, the MOE AKM Hand Guard is an upgrade to any AK pattern rifle.

Outstanding AK Upgrade!!!
This hand guard looks great and feels great, and will enhance any AK platform. It is easy to install within minutes, and fits perfectly without modification. The hand guard is slightly wider than the skinny Soviet design, and thereby enhances the grip, especially for larger hands. Be sure to read and follow the installation instructions!!! After sliding the hand guard into the receiver I gently tapped it home with a small hammer and block of wood. The fit was perfect! The gas tube top guard is also easy to install; it might be a good idea to wear gloves when twisting it into position to avoid pinching the web of the hand like I did. Add the Magpul MOE AK stock and grip, and you'll be amazed at the vastly improved look, feel, and function of the venerable AK!!!
