Awesome! Review by Ted
Quality Ruggedness Price Value Just got my sight, and after taking it to the range, very simple to zero, with an Ak-47 reduced my groups dramatically. This thing just works great, period. Very happy with the fit and finish, holds a zero after removing. Received many compliments, eyecatcher. The rubber eyepiece works great too, assists in keeping the muzzle down, and the optic off your face lol. Had to wait a little while to get it, but definitely well worth the wait. (Posted on 8/16/10)

Improve the accuracy of your AK Review by Kevin
Price Value Quality Ruggedness I actually received this sight quite a few weeks back but events over took me and I’ve now only just had a chance to test it. I found that dealing with the people at Kalinka Optics was a pleasant enough experience, they were knowledgeable and helpful and the sight was despatched promptly. When it arrived I was some what disappointed as it had some screws missing from the front cover although this was easily rectified.
I found that even without instructions in English (the ones packaged are in Russian) the sight was easy enough to adjust (there are only two screws, one each for the horizontal and vertical planes) its quite logical.
I would say once adjusted this sight has doubled the accuracy of my shooting for the AK at 100m. As for a one shot kill at 440m you would a have to be a far better shot than me and also from experience hitting anything over 200m with an AK requires an element of luck.
If you are looking for a robust sight to improve the accuracy of your AK within the realms or reality I would recommend it. Having said that a translation of the instructions in to English would be good, who knows I might have missed something that could make the 440m kill a reality.
Regards,
Kevin

My NIT Review by Greg
Ruggedness Price Value Quality I got mine about three years ago. The tritium is a little dull, but I rarely have an opportunity to shoot at night anyway, so who cares? I absolutely love the sun-shade mode for the reticle. As soon as I slid it on my AK at the range, heads turned. This sight tightened my 100 meter groups from my Bulgarian AK in 7.62X39 down to 3 MOA using cheap bulk Barnaul made ammo. I am very pleased, to say the least. (Posted on 6/3/10)

NIT Review by storm
Price Value Quality Ruggedness this is not a NIT-A. the A is illuminated by tritium H3.. This is illuminated by "solar" like a trijicon.
very cool but unfortunately we can not get Russian scopes with tritium in them.

If you are after true military, this is it. Review by David
Price Value Quality Ruggedness I received my Nit-A yesterday and was a little taken back by what I found when I opened the case. Obviously a real military piece of gear. I put it on my Arsenal (Russian made) SGL31-61 5.45x39 AK-74, and went to the range. At 100 meters the bullet impact was dead on. It is an amazing sight for the true military lover. I guarantee you will get heads turning when you pull out your AK with this sight on it. I have to get my Russian friend to translate the manual for me but this sight is not hard to figure out. I am sure sighting adjustment will be necessary on most rifles, mine just happened to be the exception. An English translation of the manual would be a nice addition, even if only the wording with reference to the drawings. (Posted on 4/4/10)
